So tonight I am reading my Bible, for real. Not just reading random verses I already knew but starting from the first page of Jeremiah because I felt like it needed to be read. I've never once read it, only just a few verses near the end of it and 2 minutes in I have to get out a pen and start underlining verses because I've missed so much. Reading my Bible tonight has brought me a sense of peace I haven't felt in a while and has reminded me why I became a Christian in the first place. I love it. Plain and simple, God brings me peace, hope, and joy to my everyday life and the fact that He sent his son down to save me, makes me think I'm pretty awesome. Let me rephrase that... The fact that he sent His son down to save all who accepts Him and Jesus as their personal saviour makes me think were all pretty dang awesome! Thats just my little Bible thought tonight.
If you were wondering the verses that sparked this are.
Jeremiah 1:5 - "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations"
Jeremiah 1:8- "'Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you and will rescue you,' declares the Lord"
