another season gone, another started.

So another season has left us, and another has started, My favourite season in fact has started. Autumn! To me this is the new year, its a time for fresh starts. New school year, new clothes, even new makeup. Even though for now I am done school and have headed into a full time job, it still seems like its a new beginning. I am finding myself so much happier then I have been in the past. I have less anxiety and worry a lot less about the future. I haven't on the other hand been getting tons of sleep, which is the price to pay for keeping up with work, youtube, blogging and a social life. So I've gotten some new makeup to help control that little fact about me. I have to say that I really love when a product works out how I assume it will. I shall be doing an updated fall makeup routine for work soon! Hopefully this week if the weather work out!

LIFE UPDATE AND FUN STUFF :)

    Hey there! Once again it's been a very long time and no talking on this part of my life. Although I have kept up on my youtube I can see now that this blog has really been lacking to say the least. Better now then never though as my mom would say! So lets do a nice life update right?

     I am done Hair school which is so intense and crazy! I feel like it was just yesterday that I opted to leave University to start on this adventure and follow a passion and not just what everyone else would have wanted my life to be. Hair school was amazing, I learnt so much and enjoyed so much of it, minus my last month but that was due to the fact that all my friends graduated and i was left alone.
All in all though, it was a great life move for me and for being 19 and not just having a job but having a career well I couldn't be happier.

    Before being finished with hair school, well a few old/new people came into my life and it has been a great transition, rather then going home right after school or work I had friends to go out with and a really awesome boyfriend to spend time with, He and my friends have really been great. I had them come in to do my final exams which went amazing and turned out to be great hair cuts.
    I travelled to Niagara with my high school best friend Ronnie, (I VLOGED IT! CHECK IT OUT below!!!) That was the best graduation trip I could have asked for, and to make things better Jaclyn hill highlighter!! ahhh!!! still can't believe I got it!!! :D

    Now onto today, well a couple of weeks ago I moved back home with my mom, which is maybe one of the best choices and t makes life a lot less stressful and a lot more secure for me. Although it's an hour away from my boyfriend and my friends, it was a better choice and I still see them on weekends. (Also I'm sitting in Starbucks and the amount of people who leave their laptops to smoke makes me laugh) I have multiple job interview which has taken up a lot of my time and life for the next little bit and my only hope is for full time ans to get signed off fast so I can start making people feel happy, beautiful and secure with who they are, and who they would want to become.

THANK YOU AND AN UPDATE! (April 2015)

       Hello everyone, long time no chat on this part of my youtube/blogging life. No worries though I am back and here to talk. Do you guys remember that post back in October/November when I said I was in hair school? Well I'm now 7 months in and I have 3 more to go before I am finished and onto my apprenticeship which is honestly so intense and crazy! Time goes by so fast it's amazing! 
     Along with all that fun stuff, I am starting to do wedding/prom makeup on other people more often and will be posting photos of my work here and on a tumbler blog (most likely) for fun. The youtube channel is taking off and we are 31 (from this time) subscribers away 200!! AHHHH SO CRAZY!! I feel like it was just last year when we had like 3 people! 
      Bible talks will be coming back VERY SOON! I honestly love doing them but just got busy, but they are fully on there way to an AWESOME return! 
       
       New videos will continue to be coming on Sundays and there might be extra videos coming this week!

YouTube is a friend?

          Does anyone else here find that YouTubers are their friends? That may be an odd question but when my mom and I talk about YouTubers, we talk about them like they are friends that we hang out with on a daily bases. We call them by their first names and talk about their videos or tweets. Even a couple of my friends from hair school and I talk about them like that. It just seems so normal. 
         To me it fully is, I only have 1-2 friends ( one of which being my best friend aka my mom) who are in love with beauty and makeup as much as I am, so when I watch a YouTuber I feel like they are having a conversation with me about a product or just talking about how much we love beauty, its like having a friend that has a lot in common with you. 
         It is so totally normal for me just to be like "Jacklin (Jacklin Hill) did an amazing makeup look and it looked so great!" or "Megan (Ciaobella) is visiting a friend" "Ingrid's in New York filming for threads!"  "Zoeys book sold more then J.K Rowlings first Harry Potter Novel!." When one of my favourite YouTube girls get something like a book deal, or are going to be on a show I get happy for them because I honestly feel like they earned it. It's like being happy for a friend to my mom and I and we get excited to see them! 
        I love watching vlogs or talk-through get ready with me videos because I feel like they show you into their lives and its amazingly fun to watch and see. It shows you that they are normal people sometimes and what they are doing on a normal day. Vlogmas is always the best time! 
           Is everyone like this about their YouTubers? Do you feel happy for them? Do you just watch them? What kind of videos do you love? Let me know in the comments! 

My birthday Makeup :)

   So on Friday January 16th I turned 19! Which is crazy for me, and to be honest I am in no way a party girl so my birthday is spent differently from other girls 19th birthdays here in Canada! (19 is legal age)
   I spent an hour on my makeup in the morning because i had some new goodies from friends to play with! I loved my makeup look that day! It looked so nice and put together and strong, golly it was so pretty! Then my mom got me and we went to get out hair done and we just window shopped for awhile, after that well I went back to my mom house and had a good nights sleep, really I'm still here just sleeping, I got really over tired so this is a great thing for me! :) I LOVE MY MOM SO MUCH!!! <3 <3 :)
     The night before though was a bit different for me as I spent it with two friends (Lindsay and Luke) who pretty much knew me so well that we did a things I loved. Lindsay got me from school and we went to get tea and we exchanged Christmas gifts (Haven't seen her sense IMATS so we needed to do that) and then herself and mom surprised me with a couple of extra goodies to tie along into my birthday which was the sweetest! (Hence the hour long makeup!) Then we went to Sephora and looked at well everything and she bought some hair products and let me get the points (LOVE POINTS) Then Luke took us out for dinner which was super sweet, then we went to like 3 Targets and 4 Shoppers because I love drug stores, like they are just so fun! We also hit up like 2 Starbucks! So we just chilled and hung out till it was really my birthday at midnight! :)
    So enough with my ramble about what I did and lets  get to the real Post here is my Birthday Makeup!

My 2014 Recap :)

     Hello everyone, long time no chat on this blog, although I've been keeping very active on my YouTube channel if you were/are wondering.
     So in todays post I really just wanted to write what 2014 was to me, because to be fair it was a huge year for my life and a lot of changes and things have happened. So lets label 2014 the "change" year. Yes a weird name but it seems to fit. It was my year of good changes though, nothing terrible happened which was a nice change from the past 5 years. I changed a lot about my life, even more so in the latter part of the year.

    But lets start off in January, I started my youtube channel in this month and became a lot more confident in myself. YouTube gave me a creative outlet and also gave me an activity to do when I was bored or just in an art mood. I wrote down important days like when I reached 4,6,12,25 and so on when the amount of my subscribers changed or when things seemed to happen that day, February 26 BeautyBaby44 replied to me and I hit 15 subscribers, needless to say that was a great day!
           

    As the year went on my life started to change and i started to really unlike my future and where it was going, my last year of high school was great grade wise and my classes and friends were on point but I felt sort of lost with the whole "I'm doing what and going where!" So to ease my mind to the whole thing I went to work at camp, and to be frank I didn't enjoy my summer, but i made it through and wrote a few blog posts which i found super helpful in dealing with my time there. During the summer I found that my "hobby" of beauty wasn't really a hobby anymore and it grew into my true passion. I found that no matter how bad the camp got on certain days my makeup and hair bags seemed to carry a lightness to them and made me change my attitude toward different situations with just a but more eye liner, so adding some tinted lip balm. I did do a no makeup week during the last week of camp and it turned out to be a nice detox and I just focused more on the hair point of myself.

   September came fast and university came faster, my social life boomed and I was super happy with all my friends but in the real world of the classes and the path my life was taking I was sad and unable to think I could be happy....

.....So I left and went to hair school and there I found a joy in what I was doing. I made people feel beautiful. Which is what I'm still doing! and I am beyond happy about it! I've started at a salon too so my whole life is now about making people beautiful.
     November was a huge month for me though!! I met pixiwoo,went to IMATS and all around had a great month with well I guess everything! December was a really great month and CHRISTmas was amazing! 

    So now I feel like my life is going great,and this year was huge for me, I really enjoyed it!  I have a lot of opportunities coming in my life and a lot of different directions I could take at some point and I'm very excited about it! 
So heres to 2015! May the coming year be a great for you all!

LIFE UPDATE + SEPTEMBER/OCTOBER FAVOURTIES!!

Hey Everyone! So I hope you all are doing well! Bad news for today though, there will not be a new youtube video due to the fact that I was not home this past weekend and had a lot of work to do, so this blog update will just have to do for today but not worries next week everything will be back to normal! :) 

So today I want to tell you about a few life updates and also share with you all my September/October favourites. 

 To get started, as some of you may know once I was finished camp I started university and yes it was great socially and I made loads of friends, I found myself unhappy in the life path I was taking, even more so after that summer away at camp. So I decided to make a life switch and go into something that would make me very happy, so now I’m going to become a hair stylist. I’ve been at it for about 4 weeks now and not going to lie I love it. It’s a lot more fun and enjoyable and I find the days going fast, and I am learning so much I didn't know before. The textbook has loads in it about makeup so on top of me learning about hair from the school, I also do my own readings on makeup so who knows maybe I’ll get my makeup degree next. 

Now on to my September/October Favourites!!! 

1) ITS FALL!!! Thats a huge favourite with all the colours and smells and HALLOWEEN who doesn’t love it?!!? (plus NO SNOW!!! :D) 

2)MAC Sin! Golly is this a pretty colour! Total love, it’s a dark burgundy that looks amazing against my pale skin and I find it makes my brown hair and eyes POP! 

3)Over the Knee socks! They are a huge thing I have been loving! They are so cute and when it’s not too cold out and adds a little but more cuteness to it. 

4)Cat Hat! Yes I have a hat with some cat ears, its just white and plain but really gives it a cute factor that looks amazing plus it’s super warm! 

5)MAC Sable eye shadow! Okay so how did I live with this before!? It’s now my favourite eye shadow and looks great in the crease, on the lid or even just on it’s own. If you want to get an eve shadow from MAC sable is the one you need!! :)
