my top Dark Lipsticks for pale skin

So I have super pale skin, like makeup forever 110 pale. So I find many lipstick can either make my skin look like a skin pale, or just makes me look bad. So I found that dark colours suit me very well, along with anything purple based. So my three favourite dark lip shades are

1) Clinque "Black Honey" this is more brown based, but over all is a red toned colour, it looks amazing on I would think everything skin tone. This colour warms up your face and just makes you look very out together.


2) MAC "Rebel" this colour is to me a burgundy but on more of the purple side, it makes your skin look amazing, and will also give you a vampy look.


3) MAC "All Out Gorgeous" I went out with my mom to look for a lipstick for her at MAC and a lady asked me to try this on and both myself and my mom fell in love with how this looked. It was the perfect everyday red and just makes pale skin look amazing!

So first off I've been loving the Lancome eye lash curler, which is amazing and am so glad i invested in it.

Next the Clinque even better moisturiser which makes my skin super soft for the winter.

Bible Talk! things I've learned.

So I know I promised a makeup post but the photos are taking longer to take then I excepted to I've opted to switch it around and post a Bible talk instead. :)
      So at one point in my life I was a jr.high leader and I found the kids who were not forced by their parents to go were more willing to accept God, rather than decline Him. So this taught me a few things, and I would love to share them with you.
1) You need to make your faith your own, and also chose it on your own. Go to what you are called to. Where as I myself felt a call toward Christianity and the message there you might not.
2) It is okay to experiment with different things. I went through 3 yes 3 different religions before seeing that I was drawn and called to Christianity and the message of Jesus Christ.
3) Do not push it on other people. Yes we are meant to be lights, but lights shouldn't shine so bright into peoples faces that the person becomes blind. Just show a light strong enough for them to see that Jesus is a good thing and can bring comfort in dark times.
and lastly everyone is different and will go and find God at their own pace. We can not push, pull, or even drag them at a faster pace. Allow people to move and grow on their own while giving them support.

Bible Talk!

Good day everyone! It is kind of gross here in Canada, raining and dark. So on to the topic of Bible Talk! Today I want to talk about well Gods timing, because I am no stranger to wanting God to do something on my time. Sometimes though His timing is so much better because it just become more worth it when it happens. You have to wait and pray, keep standing strong in God and keep moving forward. Do not get swallowed by the world around you. Stand strong friends, Gods timing is perfect and it will always be. Remember He has a plan for you, all you just have to do is follow it!

Good Morning!!!

Why hello there everyone. So this week has been pretty hard, from all the tests to well just about everything getting in the way of me writing. Oh except for writers craft, we write none stop in that class. So today I just wanted to say a quick hello and inform you all that my youtube channel will be starting up in the next two weeks!! Crazy I know, so along with this blog which will have Bible Time, in depth reviews and a few other things my youtube will most likely have monthly Fav's, OOTD's and much more! So I hope all of you will join me on my youtube journey and my and goal is just to get 200 subs, not much but its a good amount if I get more thats cool and if I get less then thats fine too. I just want to have fun. :)

My no heat hair week

So today was the last day of my "no heat hair week." I do one or two every season which to me is a lot of fun. I do paper bag curls and just half up half down hair styles. I also do a deep repair mask to bring my hair back to life, an id I feel really good I will even trim the ends of t hair but I did not to that this week. Even though I only use heat 3 or 4 days out of the seven and wash every other day I find these weeks to be extra useful for my hair and recommend it to everyone with hair! :) God bless 

Impress nails help nail biters?

So ever sense I was little I've been a nail biter. Ewww I know, but it is one of the hardest habits to break. I bite them when I was nerves, stressed and sometimes just when I am sitting in class. I've tried everything to stop, lemon juice, hockey tape, nail polish, pretty much everything but even with those i would still bite. So i got impress nails to see of they would help and so far this weekend it has. Considering they have stayed on and my nails are now growing. They are easy to   apply and inexpensive. They also look really nice! 

Makeup Loves!!

Pretty Little Liars makeup is amazing! Like wow, but oddly enough Ive noticed a few of them have the same sort of makeup! They all sort of have gold or copper eye shadow and tight lined eyes which looks amazing!! :) I tried the look today and it looks great on everyone!! Try it out.

Fashion inspiration?

Have you ever been inspired by a show,book,movie, etc? Fashion wise I mean. I am starting to watch Pretty Little Liars, which is an awesome how for just that. I relate to Spencer's style the most, it is amazing, classic and girly but also very smart looking. Just like when I watched Gossip Girl last summer or restarted I should say, it inspired my love of tights and skirts! I took it from Blairs school style and now I am planing on taking some of Spencer's style, even though her style is very much like Blairs.  Yay for new fashion inspiration!!!

Relaxing morning

So this morning I've opted to wake up and just relax before school. I didn't want to be in a rush, and just wanted to blog bit. So today is a start to a new and exciting week, and by exciting I mean calm week. No tests, no assailments due, and crossing my fingers for no screw ups.

Time to talk about Fall

So its fall, which to me is an amazing time of year (at least for me). The colours are perfect and the makeup being a but more matt and darker. I am loving burgundy which is my favourite to wear. If you are super pale with dark hair this colour will make everything good about you POP! Sad to say that fall is a short season considering its a season in my life  that I'm in love with!! But always remember "winter is coming" have an amazing day, and i will 100% be uploading way more!!!

Bible thought #2

So tonight I am reading my Bible, for real. Not just reading random verses I already knew but starting from the first page of Jeremiah because I felt like it needed to be read. I've never once read it, only just a few verses near the end of it and 2 minutes in I have to get out a pen and start underlining verses because I've missed so much. Reading my Bible tonight has brought me a sense of peace I haven't felt in a while and has reminded me why I became a Christian in the first place. I love it. Plain and simple, God brings me peace, hope, and joy to my everyday life and the fact that He sent his son down to save me, makes me think I'm pretty awesome. Let me rephrase that... The fact that he sent His son down to save all who accepts Him and Jesus as their personal saviour makes me think were all pretty dang awesome! Thats just my little Bible thought tonight.

Which reads "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future"

Always be ready for what God has for you, his plan is perfect and even if it seems like your storm wont come to an end, just hold on because God is your shelter. He never puts stuff in front of us that we cant over come :) 

July makeup picks :)

So this month has been every where, its been good but also very bad, I've been sick, my family stuff went wrong again and its just been stress over load for me. August on the other hand seems like its going to be a good month, with me finally knowing how to do winged liner.On another note I'm going to start doing Outfit of the day posts, maybe not every day but on the days i really like what I'm wearing.  Also I'm going to start doing Bible things on this blog, like daily verses and devotions again maybe not daily but hopefully a lot more. So if you have any suggestions on what YOU would like to see on this blog please leave me a comment I would love to know what you would like me to start doing.  So without anything else to add here are the makeup products I've been using this month. 

#1 Sun screen. Do I need to say more, I use SPF 60, yes 60 I am beyond pale and need as much SPF as possible. 

#2 PINK pretty and pure body spray, smells so yummy for summer and keeps me fresh all day! 

#3 Revlon Nail polish in CHARMED so pretty its the perfect lavender 

#4 VS blond liner in  the black shade, so easy to use and perfect for first time liner users like myself 

#5 MAC well dressed blush, this one I just again brought out and began to love again. I don't buy blush often so I only have 2 shades and this one has made a come back

#6 NAKED basic by urban decay had returned and it looks great with the liner look Ive been rocking

#7 clear brow gel, amazing! 

#8 fit me stick foundation in 110, love this still!! so nice and super fast to apply!! 

JUNE LOVES

This June a lot of stuff has been going on with well everything. School is now over and light makeup has begun and let me tell you it can sometimes be hard going back to light summer makeup. This month I haven't done any eye makeup because well its hot out and I've been loving the bold lip. 
Lets start with MAKEUP: The photo makes the MAC LIPSTICK in FLAMINGO look a lot brighter then it really is but its beautiful even on my super pale cannot get a tan for it's life skin. I love being pale thou so its not a big deal to me. Next the MAYBELLINE FIT ME SHINE-FREE stick foundation in 110 (the lightest shade) wow this stuff its great, it keeps me shine free but my skin looking nice and natural and its super light and it covers what I need to be covered which is not a lot but its really nice and under 12$. SUGAR LIPCHAP is so nice and has SPF. Then we have 8 hour cream and dandelion blush which are both amazing and work so well. The blush will really brighten your face up. 
FASHION: Can we just take a moment to look at those amazing wedges Im 17 and feel in love with them the moment I was them. I wore then to my boyfriends graduation and to a few other events I had this month and they were so nice to walk in and best of all my feet didn't hurt at the end of the night. 
FOREVER 21 SHORTS these are great, I've pretty much lived in them, super nice fitting and high wasted what could be better? oh wait the Price.. they were under 21.50CAN and they are just amazing.

Over Thinking

Am I the only one who over things everything? I other think what people say to me, and what they do and I find it hard when people don't understand what their actions can do. Sometimes I find not saying or doing anything can be the worst action someone can commit because it causes the other person to over think and start to well freak out in their mind. Not picking up a phone or replying to that one text may be the thing to set it all in motion. It can make your mood go into the worst place and make you feel like nothing and you just feel so terrible for the rest of the day. Even the next day you can wake up and feel crappy. Sometimes it's easy to get out of the mood, like when you don't really care about the person but when you love the person who is not replying and care about them so much it can make everything else in your life seem bad. Please think before you do something, we over thinkers can take everything out of proportion and think horrible thoughts. If you know the person loves you and you really love them back sending them the words "I love you" can make all the difference in the world. Remember thou God will always love you and you are always perfect is His eyes. God bless :)

So for the people wondering what makeup I've been loving here are the items I've been using everyday. 
First love I've been using everyday sense I went to Prom with my boyfriend and its the NARS "Translucent Crystal light reflecting powder-pressed" this photo graphed beautifully and made my skin look so nice and glow.
Second L'OREAL "true match foundation in W1" Amazing colour for my super pale skin and stayed put under the NARS powder. 
Third/forth BENEFIT "benetint"/"girl meets pearl" put on cheeks or lips for colour all day.. really works for cheeks, and this highlight is just beautiful for everyday 
Fifth URBAN DECAY "Naked Basic" After Prom I just wanted neutral eye makeup when I wore it so I got this out and loved everything about it. 
Sixth COVER GIRL "Clump Crusher" wow this really doesn't clump and its an amazing price for an amazing mascara 
and lastly the MAYBELLINE "colour tattoo in Inked In Pink" Beautiful Base for neutral looks and adds a nice amount of shimmer and really brings out brown eyes

Fashion and Makeup to me are the two best outlets known to women kind. It can change the way we view ourselves and make us happier then we already are. For me when I'm in a bad mood I take out my lip gloss and put a little on and my mood changes from feeling bad to feeling great. Little things we do to ourselves can make all the difference in how we feel, and look. We as women forget to do little things for ourselves while we become over stressed with school, work, family life and everything in between. Whether its buying yourself a new lip gloss, that new book you've been eyeing or event taking an hour long bath while reading instyle or seventeen, little things can help bring you back to you normal, amazing, happy self that you are meant to be. :) 

Im Starting a YouTube channel?!?

Hey Everyone, so tomorrow may or may not be the start of my new YouTube channel under the same name of this blog poshpoor. I would love if you would all leave me comment on what stuff to do, this channel will be beauty and fashion related with some helpful tricks and tips and this channel will also be focused on how girls can find there inner beauty in God. Also if you would like I can tie in some history too, but that may be only me that thinks that would be fun. So I decided to begin to post photos on this blog, maybe not of me but of different items and things so today I decided to show you my (Almost) everyday makeup routine. Also I want to know what you guys do for yours, maybe not your makeup but your go to fashion item or go to lip gloss really anything that you like to use or have on an everyday basis. 
 Products From left to right: Revlon pink pop, lip balm (changes depending on what I have never picky), NARS Roman Holiday (best for my fair skin and super pretty), Benefit They're real mascara, NAKED 2 pallet (urban decay), Makeup Forever HD foundation in 110 ( great for really pale girls with pink undertones), Anastasia Brow Wiz in brunette, a white and black eye liner (never too picky on what I use) MAC blush in "well dressed", UDPP (urban decay primer potion. 
This doesn't change too often, I don't add much but the lip products and colours do change a lot and  usually I take out one or to of the steps if I'm too lazy or want less makeup. :) leave a comment and tell me what you use I would love to hear about it :) 

My 2013 Words...

Today was the first day of 2013 in which I chose my words to try to embrace, this year I went with the words.... CONFIDENCE and FEARLESS!
I chose these words because these are what every teenage girl needs along with a lot of respect for their body and mind. We tend to not be confident or fearless when we feel either unwanted or when people look down on us. The question is why do we let those people do that to us? This year we as girls are going to work what we got, now this doesn't mean were going to show too much skin or "get around" with tons of boys.  We are going to use of minds, our beautifully created faces and our knowledge about ourselves to portray what we want to! "We are creation of God, we are beautiful, powerful and we will be confident and fearless in out everyday lives!" 

Chose your words or verse wisely because you'll have to live with them for an entire year :)
